BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Scott Peterson
- President
Scott A. Peterson is President and a volunteer director. He is an award-winning film producer and screenwriter for faith-based and family-friendly films, as well as founder and owner of ii Films, L.L.C.
While at ii Films, L.L.C., Peterson wrote and produced three full-length Christian faith-based feature films – each of which would be considered ultra-microbudget films. They have received multiple awards and, more importantly, have resulted in many people following Christ and/or increasing their knowledge of Christ and the Christian faith and their relationship with God. While he has a background in commercial photography, Peterson is "self-taught" in the film industry utilizing a lot of books, online courses, as well as learning from the talented people he has worked with.
He has always loved movies and that form of storytelling. At first, he started out writing screenplays as a hobby but once they started getting national attention (The Current and Miles Between Us were finalists (top 12 of 500+) for The Kairos Prize - a contest for Christian screenplays) he started a production company to produce them.
He is married to Diane Peterson who also is his producing partner at ii Films, L.L.C. She is step-mother to their daughter, Lacey. Lacey lives in Oklahoma with her husband, Ryan, and their three children, Paisley, Preston, and Pierce.

Jeff’s foremost passion lies in the following areas:
1) Deductive Bible training and the power of our living God, Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever."
Seeking God’s direction. Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust God - "Lean not on my own understanding. Always acknowledge Him. He will direct my path."
Building of relationships to further God’s kingdom, Matthew 28: 19,20 "Teach everyone as Christ has taught, (and concludes)… He is with us forever"

Family is the basic function of being a “FAT” person > Faithful, Available and Teachable”. With Christian taught love being the foundation of our existence.
3) Giving back: As Jeff nears retirement, he is drawn to the next unique Holy Spirit momentum. Community, Church, and family have been the past foundational building blocks, and now being called to support ii Films Ministries becomes a renewed focus to take on the challenges of meaningful storytelling through the media of film. I can hardly wait to see what God is planning and moving through the community of this outstanding ministry!!
